Walter Nagl

Born in 1939 in Grinzens / Tyrol, 1954-1959 studied sculpture with Anton Hörtnagl in Axams and Munich. 1959-1963 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, master class in sculpture with Hans Andre, and painting (evening act) with Herbert Boeckl. Numerous awards during his student days, such as the Cardinal-Koenig-Prize. In 1963 Nagl began his work as a freelance artist in Hatting in the Oberinntal, where he still works and creates in painting landscapes and nudes as well as sculptures made of wood and bronze. Numerous study trips to Italy, France, Spain, Egypt, Crete, Senegal, etc. Theodor Körner Prize for the complete work.
