Frauendorfer explores the possibilities that arise from an unconventional point of view. His striking choice of motifs and a conscious use of light and shadow characterize his paintings. They convey to the viewer a fascinating world in which the boundaries of appearance and reality, of reality and fantasy appear suspended.
